By using HypedCrowds you agree to these terms. They cover the platform itself, the tickets sold through it, and the relationship between you, us, and the organizers running events. We've kept the language as plain as we can — if any of it isn't clear, email support@hypedcrowds.com and we'll explain.
Who's who
- HypedCrowds (us) is the platform. We host the site, process payments, deliver tickets, and operate the door-scanner tools. We are not the event organizer.
- Organizers (the band, venue, or promoter) are the people running each event. They set ticket prices, manage capacity, and operate the show.
- You are anyone using the site to browse events, buy tickets, or attend a show.
Accounts
- You must be at least 13 to create an account.
- Provide accurate name + email — these end up on your tickets and reach you when an event changes.
- You're responsible for activity on your account. Use a strong password or sign in with magic links; turn on two-factor if you want extra protection.
- Don't share your account or impersonate someone else.
- We can suspend or terminate accounts engaged in fraud, chargebacks-as-refunds, harassment, or other abuse.
Tickets
- A ticket is a revocable license to attend the named event on the named date. It is not a transferable property right.
- The QR code on your ticket is a bearer token — anyone who scans it gets in. Treat it like a paper ticket. Don't post photos of it publicly.
- Once a ticket is scanned at the door, it's marked used and can't be scanned again. If a duplicate shows up, the second person doesn't get in.
- Organizers may refuse entry for cause (intoxication, ID issues, dress code, capacity at the door, conduct violating venue rules). In those cases the ticket is forfeit.
- Tickets are personal-use only. Reselling tickets above face value is prohibited and we may invalidate scalped tickets without refund.
- You can transfer a ticket to another person — just send them the QR. We may build a more formal transfer flow later; for now, sharing the QR works.
Purchases
- Prices are shown in US dollars at checkout. Any platform fee is folded into the displayed ticket price; you see the total before you pay.
- Sales tax may apply at checkout where required by law. When tax is applicable, the breakdown will be shown before purchase.
- Payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- By completing a purchase you confirm you're authorized to use the payment method.
Refunds
Refund eligibility is described in our Refund Policy. In short: events cancelled by the organizer are auto-refunded; events that go ahead as planned are non-refundable by default unless the organizer chooses to allow it.
Organizer obligations
- Deliver the event substantially as described — same date, same venue, same general lineup.
- Material changes (date, venue, lineup) trigger a refund right for buyers (see Refund Policy).
- Comply with applicable laws — venue capacity, alcohol licensing, age restrictions, accessibility, taxes, copyright.
- HypedCrowds is the platform, not a co-promoter. Organizers are independently responsible for their events.
What we don't do
We're a ticketing platform, not a content moderator. We don't endorse, screen, or guarantee the quality of any event. We don't promise that an event will be fun, safe, on-time, or as good as the marketing made it sound. The organizer is responsible for the show; our job ends at "the right ticket reached the right person."
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, HypedCrowds is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or your attendance at an event. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the total amount you paid for the ticket(s) at issue.
We don't disclaim liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything else where the law forbids us from doing so.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify HypedCrowds against claims arising from your misuse of the platform — selling tickets above face value, fraudulently disputing charges, impersonating someone else, distributing malware, and the like.
Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Hillsborough County, Florida, and you and we consent to that jurisdiction.
Before filing anything, please email support@hypedcrowds.com. Most issues we can resolve quickly without involving lawyers.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to registered users at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the platform after that 30 days counts as acceptance.
